As part of subdivision approvals, Soil and Water assesses the suitability and constraints of the development site for on-site effluent disposal, road construction, servicing infrastructure and construction of dwellings.

The assessment includes general land management recommendations for constrained and sensitive areas including effluent disposal areas, steep slopes, riparian zones, poorly drained waterlogged soils and areas of native vegetation. Recommendations are designed to assist in determining appropriate land management practices for different parts of the site.

Our reports are suitable for submission to Council and includes mapping layers which identify the location of constraints including any buffer areas required by Council and/or agencies.
