Service Overview

Integrated Development for Sub-Divisions (Rural Residential)

If you are sub-dividing land for residential development in New South Wales, you may require approvals from a State Government regulatory agency as well as the local Council.  This is described as an Integrated Development under Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Integrated Development is triggered when your proposed development has a specific impact on fisheries, marine vegetation, waterways (dredging, reclamation, crossings), existing heritage orders or Register, mining, Aboriginal places or relics, the environment and bushfire prone land.
